ASMR | Going Through Old Letters Sent to a Soldier (1939-1940) | No Talking

In this video I'm going through a collection of very old letters — sent to a soldier by his family and friends during his military service in 1939 and 1940, right on the eve of World War Two. The letters are separated into two piles: one from friends, and one from his father, which I've kept apart as I consider them a valuable historical document. All the letters are written in Serbian, in the Cyrillic script, and the paper — now over 80 years old — has a wonderfully delicate, crackly, brittle sound. I'm taking each letter out of its envelope, laying it flat, smoothing it out, and showing you every angle — how it looks, and most importantly, how it sounds.
