He Never Lied to Me - Synthentic (Official Lyric Video)

Parked at the edge of a field. Dad's old truck, sitting in the weeds. He brought sandwiches to help. "He Never Lied to Me" is a storytelling alt-rock song about the best friend who kept his word for ten years, and the day you find out he never did. No screaming. No revenge. Just a spare key left on a porch step, next to a plant you always water. "I trusted him like a floor." Funny on the surface, cold underneath. For anyone who was the last one to know. 🎧 Listen with headphones. The last line of the final chorus is sung completely bare, and the ending stops mid-thought on purpose. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe to Synthentic Music: https://bit.ly/4iTqnXt --------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💬 Tell me in the comments: when did you find out something everyone else already knew? 👍 Like if you've ever trusted someone like a floor 🔔 Subscribe for more storytelling alt-rock — #Synthentic #AlternativeRock #StorytellingRock #IndieMusic #HeNeverLiedToMe #AltRock #IndieRock #StorytellingMusic #LyricVideo #OriginalSong
