I Came to Tidy the Plot... Then the Storm Hit! ⛈️ | Allotment Life

I headed down to the plot for an end-of-month tour and a few jobs to get everything ready for September… but the weather had other ideas! ⛈️ Come along with me as I take you around the allotment to see what's growing, harvest some tomatoes and a rather unexpected courgette, tackle some weeds, give the strawberry bed a tidy-up and prepare a bed for next season with cardboard, manure and compost. Then, halfway through the day, a thunderstorm rolls in and I have to abandon everything and take shelter in the shed! Once the storm passes, it's back outside to finish digging out those stubborn weeds and put down some weed membrane.
