Xenite Con' III: Interview Hudson Leick (Callisto in Xena)

One of them was Hudson Leick who played Callisto. She answers our questions about her mentor, what a challenge it was to play Xena, why she wants to go back to places of her childhood and why she stopped acting. “I think I wanted to act for the wrong reasons. And when I realized how much that hurt me, I stopped.” Grâce à notre partenariat avec Xivents, nous avons eu l’occasion d’interviewer certaines des invitées qui apparaissaient à la Con III. L’une d’elles était Hudson Leick, qui a joué Callisto. Dans l’interview, elle répond à nos questions au sujet de son mentor, de son rôle dans la série et de sa spiritualité. « Je pense que je voulais faire du cinéma pour les mauvaises raisons, et quand j’ai réalisé à quel point cela me faisait mal, j’ai arrêté » Dankzij ons partnership met Xivents hadden we de gelegenheid om een aantal gasten te interviewen tijdens de conventie. Een daarvan was Hudson Leick die de rol van Callisto speelt. Ze beantwoordt onze vragen over haar mentor, hoe zwaar de uitdaging was om Xena te spelen, waarom ze terug naar plaatsen van haar jeugd wil terugkeren en waarom ze stopte met acteren. “Ik deed het voor de foute redenen. En toen ik me realiseerde hoeveel pijn me dat deed, stopte ik.”
