How I Lined My Skirt and Applied Grosgrain Facing

The pattern of my skirt is New Look N6640. It is an UNlined skirt, but I wanted mine to be lined so it would have a slip underneath. My lining is actually right side toward the skirt due to a cutting mistake on the asymmetrical front pieces. It works fine though. The pattern included facings for the waistline, but I used 1 1/2" Grosgrain ribbon instead. The lining fabric is from Hobby Lobby and is a non-cling polyester.
