"to paint the bathroom, or not to paint the bathroom, that's the question" as shakespeare once wrote. he was so real for that.
i hope you're doing good and enjoying life recently (at least a little. hopefully a lottle.) i've been doing good, thank u for asking, as always. there was that one day though- and i'm gonna tell you about it because i know only a loyal few of you read the description so i'm free to be extra dumb down here-
i mentioned that i bought "all of the necessary materials to fix the desk" or whatever i said. one of those things was an orbital sander. if you don't know what that is, you don't need to. it's just a sander... that moves orbitally.
anyway, i shouldn't have access to one of those.
i did make an attempt to sand the stains out of the desk. nothing bad happened to the desk, it looks exactly like it did before (idk what the previous owners spilled on it but i think it may have been an unearthly substance judging by the depth of the stains.) however, bad things happened to me.
i made the pea-brain move of the century and with intensely ignorant bliss sanded the desk *inside my apartment*. my forethought was that if i turned the ceiling fan off, all of the dust would fall to the ground and there would be a very quick, simple cleanup.... booooooo! booooooo! (those are audience boos, not ghostly ones)
needless to say, there was dust on the floor, dust on the walls, dust on the ceiling, dust on the doors, dust on the me- everything was dust. yellowy dust. the entire room looked like it was coated in a fine layer of mustard.
it's been three weeks since that horrific incident and a new layer of dust reappears every day.... i would say learn from my mistakes, but i can tell just by looking at you that you're not pea-brained and don't have anything to learn. you simply would not do what i've done.
see ya next time :o)
