Celebrating $6.2 Million of Community Impact | Acorn Foundation 2026

In 2026, Acorn Foundation donors distributed $6.2 million to more than 150 charities and community organisations, supporting people and causes across the Western Bay of Plenty and beyond. This highlights video captures some of the special moments from our 2026 distributions events, where donors, community organisations and supporters gathered to celebrate the extraordinary work happening throughout our region. This year’s funding supports a wide range of needs, from food security, mental health and youth development to education, disability services, environmental care, arts and culture. A particular focus has been supporting immigrant communities and the organisations helping newcomers build connections, access essential services and find a sense of belonging. We are deeply grateful to our donors for making this funding possible and to the dedicated organisations, volunteers and community leaders who transform it into meaningful action every day.
