நிறமே (Nirame) is my second release as Tuvaaraa. This one came from a thought I kept returning to: we are often very good at recognising the beginning of love - the attraction, the excitement, the rush, but not always what allows it to remain after those feelings change. “ஆசை வெறும் வேகம் பாஷை மாறும் மோகம்” Nirame is a conversation between two friends. One has already known heartbreak, and instead of telling the other not to fall in love, he simply asks her to look a little deeper. Because colours change. Desire changes. People change. And perhaps what gives love its life is not the intensity of its beginning, but the care that survives after it. “அன்புக்கும் ஆயுள் உண்டு… அக்கறை நீண்டால் நீளும்…” This is only my second release, and I am still discovering what Tuvaaraa sounds and looks like. I wanted Nirame to feel intimate, a little imperfect, colourful, nostalgic and quietly human.
