A short romp through my Susato whistle collection, with an O'Riordan for reference.

I have to admit I have largely ignored Susato whistles: after having bought one in the 70s, I gravitated toward other makers, but having purchased two Oriole models on the secondary market, I am finding them a lot of fun to play. I am playing Tommy Whelan's reel one time through on each, after playing it on my O'Riordan for reference. I also play a Chinese knock-off -- that isn't bad until you get to the high A and B -- and I finish with a Kildare high E that I was given by a student because he found it too shrill (I will admit it did overdrive the recording on the top notes, but I love the buzz.) Let me know which you prefer.
