Crazy New Technique - Aluminium with Woodturning Chisel

Woodturning solid aluminium sheets into a beautiful jewelry box. I have been think about using aluminium as a wood turning material for a while. To be honest, I am not even sure if it is even possible. The aluminium is much harder than most wood species wood, yet the effect that I can achieve using aluminium in my work is certainly worth a try. I this video I will attempt to make a jewelry box with thick aluminium inserts and I will only use carbide woodturing chisels to shape the aluminium. The jewelry box contains brown ash, walnut and 0.5 mm thick aluminium inserts. I hope you enjoy watching this video.
