1997-2000 GM truck and SUV EVO steering issues and solution

1997-2000 GM truck and SUV EVO or variable power steering causing a twitchy steering feel on corners at highway speed. I replaced the variable valve on the power steering pump with one from a Dodge truck pump and also used a 1996 GM Suburban high pressure hose to eliminate the variable valve.
