Sorting the wiring and central locking in a MK2 GTI Golf

While the dash is out I thought i would take a look at the wiring, pull out some excess dead bits, neaten and strengthen some connections and re-route some of it, as well as fix a problem with my central locking that developed after a trip to the body shop.
