Kundalini, Explained by an Engineer | Itzhak Bentov

In the old stories of awakening, a serpent lies coiled at the base of the spine. An engineer went looking for it in the nervous system, with instruments. The appendix, and the most personal part of the book: the body, measured by an engineer. Bentov describes stress stored like grooves in a record, a sequence of symptoms he saw many times, and his physio-kundalini model, a loop around the brain's sensory cortex driven by standing waves in its fluid-filled ventricles.
