JumpStart 4th Grade - Ending

SPOILER ALERT The ending to the 1996 version of JumpStart Adventures 4th Grade: Haunted Island. If you have never seen it and don't want it spoiled, please don't watch. When the player finally reached Ms. Grunkle's attic where the kids were trapped, Ms. Grunkle threatened to turn them all into monsters again, including the player this time. Fortunately, the player had Ms. Grunkle's wand. Once she saw the player had it, Ms. Grunkle acknowledged defeat and flew out the window on her broom. The kids were saved and the school house seen in the game's opening returned to normal. I love this game, but unfortunately I have to admit that I have always found the ending to be terribly disappointing. After playing through the whole sometimes pretty dang frustrating game, SHE JUST FLIES OUT THE WINDOW?! This game and its characters are NOT mine. They are (c) Knowledge Adventure, Inc.
