How I grew my Type 4 hair to tailbone length using simple, low-manipulation styling 🤎 In this video, I’m sharing one of my favorite ways to style and care for my Type 4 natural hair — a simple 2-in-1 low-manipulation routine that gives me two hairstyles from one install. I start with twists and flat twists, wear them as a style, and later take them down to create a twist-out. This allows me to keep my hands out of my hair, reduce daily manipulation, and still enjoy a different hairstyle afterward. After growing my natural hair to tailbone length, I’ve learned that length retention is just as important as growth. For me, keeping my hair in low-manipulation styles has been one of the ways I've been able to protect my ends and retain the length I've grown.
