"This Popular Song Makes the Devil Rejoice — Stop Singing It! Billy Graham

Have you ever wondered whether the songs you sing every day are bringing you closer to God or pulling your heart away from Him? Music is more than entertainment; it can influence your thoughts, shape your emotions, and affect your spiritual life. In this powerful Christian motivational message, “This Popular Song Makes the Devil Rejoice — Stop Singing It!”, we explore the importance of choosing music that honors God, strengthens your faith, and brings peace to your soul. Inspired by Christian teachings commonly associated with Billy Graham, this message challenges believers to examine the lyrics, messages, and spiritual influences behind the songs they listen to. Not every popular song reflects Christian values, and not every catchy melody carries a message that supports your relationship with Jesus Christ. The question is not simply whether a song sounds good, but whether its words encourage love, truth, purity, hope, and faith—or lead your heart toward harmful attitudes and destructive choices. In this eye-opening Christian sermon, you will discover why spiritual discernment matters when choosing music, how worldly influences can affect your mindset, and why worship should be more than singing familiar words. Learn how to recognize music that conflicts with your Christian beliefs, protect your heart from negative influences, and make choices that reflect your commitment to God. The Bible reminds us in Colossians 3:16 to let the message of Christ dwell among us richly as we teach and encourage one another with wisdom through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. This powerful principle invites every believer to consider whether their music nourishes their faith and glorifies the Lord. This message is not about judging people by their musical preferences or assuming that a particular song automatically serves evil. Instead, it is an invitation to listen carefully, examine the meaning behind the lyrics, and ask whether the music you embrace aligns with the teachings of Jesus Christ. 🙏 In this video, you will learn: Why Christians should pay attention to the messages hidden in song lyrics. How music can influence your thoughts, emotions, attitudes, and spiritual priorities. Why discernment is essential when choosing popular songs. How to distinguish entertainment from music that strengthens your relationship with God. Why Christian worship should focus on truth, gratitude, holiness, and the glory of Jesus Christ. How to replace spiritually unhelpful influences with music that encourages faith and inner peace. If you desire a stronger relationship with God, let this message encourage you to examine what you allow into your heart and mind. Your daily choices matter, including the music you listen to, the words you repeat, and the values you embrace. Watch until the end and reflect on this important question: Does the music you sing reflect the faith you profess?
