Surviving the heat on the Pacific Crest Trail - 🥵

Day 50 on the PCT hit different.! Pacific Crest Trail Day 50 — Miles 444 to 464 Today was one of the toughest days on my PCT thru‑hike. I left Acton and hiked through Vasquez Rocks, Agua Dulce, and up toward Bird Spring, battling intense heat and low energy the entire way. This section pushed me physically and mentally, and I struggled more than I expected. By the time I reached my water source, I was exhausted — but grateful. I filled up my bottles, set up camp, and crawled into bed determined that tomorrow will be a better day. Not every day on the Pacific Crest Trail is beautiful and easy… some days test your soul.
