The Lord Came, But I Did Not Know Him🤦‍♀️

*The Lord Came, But I Did Not Know Him* What if the Lord came before us, but we failed to recognize Him? “The Lord Came, But I Did Not Know Him” is a heartfelt Christian song about seeking the Lord beyond outward appearance, human opinions, and our own expectations. The song reflects on how people can hear the truth yet reject it because of preconceived ideas, the judgments of others, or what they believe the Messiah should look like. Sometimes, the greatest obstacle to recognizing God's voice is not that we cannot hear—it is that our own ideas have become louder than the truth. Through its emotional verses and prayerful chorus, this song invites us to examine our hearts: Are we judging by outward appearance? Are we following human voices? Or are we quietly listening for the truth God speaks? The song is also a personal prayer: *“Lord, if You are speaking now, please open my heart to hear You.”* May we not allow human opinions, traditions, or our own expectations to become the reason we turn away from the Lord. May we have a humble and seeking heart, discern the truth, and recognize His voice when He calls. **The Lord came… And I don't want to miss Him again.** 🙏 May this song inspire everyone who is sincerely seeking the Lord to reflect, listen, and seek the truth with an open heart.
