I Would Like to Unsee Hereditary | FIRST TIME WATCHING Hereditary

I avoided this movie for a reason. Apparently I should have trusted my instincts. It is finally time for Hereditary, one of the horror movies I have been nervous about watching since basically the moment people started asking me to react to it. Toni Collette is absolutely incredible, but this movie is so much more than traditional horror. The grief, family dynamics, increasingly disturbing atmosphere, and constant feeling that something is deeply wrong made this one of the most uncomfortable movie experiences I've had on the channel. And every time I thought we had reached peak disturbing, Hereditary politely informed me that we had not. Please keep the comments spoiler free for anyone who has not experienced Hereditary yet.
