I Will Rise – Those Who Wait Upon the Lord | Gospel Worship Song with Lyrics

Lord, where are You? If you've prayed that prayer and heard only silence, this song is for you. "I Will Rise" is a gospel worship song for the sometimes weary and the waiting: for anyone hurting, worn down, or wondering if God still sees them. He does. He never left. And those who wait on Him will rise again. "But those who wait for the Lord's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired." Isaiah 40:31 What are you waiting on God for today? Tell us in the comments and we will pray with you; And share this song with someone who needs to hear they are not forgotten. Sometimes the waiting feels so long I look around and see no answer And wonder where I belong But You are God who never changes You do not grow weary or sleep You know the places I am hurting You know the secrets that I keep You see me when I'm broken You hear me when I pray And even when I cannot feel You You're working while I wait [Pre-Chorus] So I will not be afraid I will not lose my hope The God who holds tomorrow Is holding me today When my strength is fading Your strength is coming through [Chorus] Those who wait upon the Lord Will find their strength again (Find their strength again) They will rise, they will rise Like eagles on the wind (They will rise!) When I'm weak, You make me strong When I can't go on (You give me strength!) I will trust You through the night I will rise with You in the morning (I WILL RISE!) [Verse 2] Even the strongest can grow weary Even the young can stumble and fall But You give power to the tired And You give strength to one and all So I will wait without surrender I will believe when I can't see The hands that formed the stars above me Are still reaching out for me You have not lost track of me You know exactly where I am And when I have no strength to carry You will carry me again You don't grow tired, You don't grow weary (You never change) You know my heart, You know my journey (You know my name) You give the weary strength, You give the fallen grace (Fresh strength, fresh strength) When I cannot run (You will carry me) When I cannot see (You will lead me) When I cannot stand (You will hold me) I will wait on You (I will trust You) Fresh strength, fresh strength, fresh strength for the weary Fresh hope, fresh hope, fresh hope for tomorrow [Final Chorus] Those who wait upon the Lord Will find their strength again (Find their strength again!) They will rise, they will rise Like eagles on the wind (They will rise!) They will run and not grow weary (They will run!) They will walk and not faint (They will walk!) When I'm weak (You make me strong!) When I'm tired (You give me strength!) When I am waiting (I WILL TRUST YOU!) I will rise! (I WILL RISE!) Choir I will rise, I will rise, I will rise On the wings of faith, I will rise I will run, I will not grow weary I will walk, I will not faint I will rise, I will rise So I will wait, I will trust, I will believe Even here, even now, You are my strength Those who wait, those who wait I will rise...
