To end The Tuesday Majlis at-Tahqīq, Shaykh Musa Abuzaghleh recites the page to be recited next week, with the aim of demonstrating to the students how the page should be recited to their teacher for the next week in Tahqīq, without excess or deficiency, with the ultimate aim of reciting in Tartīl, slowly and distinctly, to follow the guidance of Allah SWT in saying: ﴿ وَرَتِّلِ القُرآنَ تَرتيلًا﴾ [المزمل: 4] ﴿ recite the Quran slowly and distinctly﴾ [Al-Muzzammil: 4] That being, calmly and in an unhurried manner, to give one time to ponder the meaning of the ayah being recited. For the one who may not understand the ayah, it still maintains the highest reverence, respect and adab with Allah SWT, in following His guidance to the Prophet ﷺ, as described by Imam Al-Ghazāli (d. 505AH) in Ihyā’ ‘Ulūm ad-Dīn (1/277).
