Slow gothic blues with trip-hop weight: heavy rolling bass, sparse brooding piano, strings rising from beneath the surface, a woman's voice sung close and dry, nothing polished. A trail at dusk, a cave that watches you come, old stories playing as shadows on the wall, and a lantern carried down through all of it. At the centre, a quiet chamber where an observer sits, holding the door open. The cosmos shows through the stone a little more each chorus, until the lantern becomes the first light.
