Blessed Bartolo Longo- From Ex- Satanist Priest to Saintly Promoter of the Rosary!!

Fr Marius introduces us to Blessed Bartolo Longo, who had a fascinating journey from Lawyer and Satanic Priest to saintly Promoter of the Rosary. Through his encounter with a Dominican priest, Fr Alberto Radente the young lawyer, he renounced Satanism vowing to save his own soul and others by teaching others how to pray the Rosary. He moved to Pompeii and began work on the beautiful Shrine to Our Lady of the Rosary. For more than 50 years he preached the Rosary, founded schools for the poor, established orphanages and transformed a city of death to a city dedicated to the Mother of God. Pope John Paul II beatified him on 26th October 1980 proclaiming him a "Man of Mary".
