Mid level listening 1

Importance of listening for communication is highlighted. Active listening techniques are discussed. Need for listening first to grasp the content and meaning of the passage, and then repeated listening of the same passage for language development is also detailed. Two short stories are taken up to give pointers as to how to listen and what items of language to be noted.
