How to Learn the 5 Daily Prayers (Fun Song for Kids)

Learn the five daily prayers and count their fard rak‘ahs with this cheerful Islamic song for kids from Deen Junior TV! Join Yusuf, Aisha, and Maryam for a beautiful family day—from the first light of morning to a cozy, starry night. With a familiar nursery-rhyme melody, colorful counting activities, and warm family animation, children can sing along and practice remembering each prayer. Our prayer-counting rhyme: Subh is two, Zuhur four, Asr is four, Maghrib three, Isha four! The song teaches the obligatory (fard) rak‘ahs: • Fajr / Subh — 2 • Dhuhr / Zuhur — 4 • Asr — 4 • Maghrib — 3 • Isha — 4 These counts refer to the fard prayers, rather than additional Sunnah or voluntary prayers. This episode introduces prayer names, times of day, and counting; it is not a complete guide to performing salah. Enjoy together at home, during Islamic learning activities, or as part of your family’s daily routine.
