PROS and CONS of Driving the Back Road to Hana | Maui, Hawaii

If you are visiting Maui, driving the Road to Hana is a given must-do activity. But what about continuing on the backside of the Hana Highway to complete the Road to Hana Loop? Is it too dangerous? What if I get a flat tire? How much time will this take? What should I see?
