Jack & Alex’s Story l Camp Boomerang l YMCA of Greater Charlotte

For seven years, Camp Boomerang at the Hemby Center has been more than a summer camp for Jack and his sister Alex. As their grandmother Marion puts it, "[Jack] feels like he belongs to Camp Boomerang." It's one of the few places she's found that meets Jack, who is neurodiverse, and Alex, who is neurotypical, exactly where they are.
