Seeking Darker Acoustic Tones: Warmer Woods and Strings

I just got a gorgeous 2005 Collings 0M-2H guitar with an all-mahogany body. It’s got a warmer, darker tone than most acoustic guitars — exactly the sound I prefer. I also like strings that are darker than the popular phosphor bronze and 80/20 styles.
