Vadhandhi Season 2 | Sridhar & Devi Discuss the Story| Series Review| Episode# 125 | 30 August 2026

In this episode, I am joined by my sister-in-law Devi for a detailed conversation about Vadhandhi Season 2. We discuss what worked for us, what left us confused, and how the second season compares with the first. One of the things that stood out was the series' willingness to explore sensitive and relatively uncommon themes in Tamil storytelling, while placing the story against a strong rural backdrop. Our conversation covers the story and its many twists, the DNA-testing angle, the motivations behind some of the key characters, the killer and the mystery surrounding the case, and some of the questions we were still left with after watching the series. We also talk about the performances and character development, including Shashi Kumar's performance and the strength of the supporting cast. We particularly enjoyed how several characters weren't simply presented as good or bad—the story gradually reveals different sides of them as the mystery unfolds. Of course, this is an informal conversation between two people who watched the series and had plenty of opinions and questions afterward! We may not agree on everything, and there are a few plot points we are still trying to figure out. ⚠️ SPOILER WARNING: This discussion contains major spoilers for Vadhandhi Season 2. We recommend watching the series before listening to our conversation. If you've watched Vadhandhi Season 2, we'd love to hear what you thought. Did you enjoy Season 2 more than Season 1? Did the ending work for you? And were there any plot points that left you confused?
