ଚମକାଇଲା ବନ୍ୟା ଖବର | Mahanadi Flood Update: Water Flow Declines at Mundali | Odisha Flood News The flood situation in Odisha has shown signs of improvement as rainfall in the upper Mahanadi basin decreases and inflow into the Hirakud reservoir declines. The peak flood flow at Mundali has already passed, with the discharge falling from 7,83,770 cusecs to 7,54,385 cusecs. Hirakud is receiving 4,82,547 cusecs and releasing 4,95,252 cusecs through 28 sluice gates, while the reservoir level stands at 629.67 feet. Water flow remains at 6.70 lakh cusecs near Khairmal, 6.28 lakh cusecs near Baramul, 3,89,362 cusecs at Naraj and 3,66,597 cusecs near Jobra.
