Across West Hartford Public Schools, Respect Agreements help students and educators create shared commitments for how they want to learn, communicate, and treat one another. This year, we are going deeper by looking beyond the agreements themselves and focusing on what students experience because of them. That means listening closely to student voice, reflecting on adult practice, responding to individual strengths and needs, and continually examining what helps every student feel safe, valued, connected, and ready to learn.
