UK eVisa approved? Before flying from Pakistan to the UK, make sure your digital visa, UKVI account, passport details and airline booking information are correctly set up.
A UK visa approval does not automatically mean every travel-document check is complete. If your current passport is not linked to your UKVI account, or your passenger details do not match, your airline may have difficulty verifying your immigration status.
In this video, Go Global explains *7 important checks to complete after UK Visitor Visa approval and before travelling to the UK.*
*WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:*
✅ *1. Access your eVisa:* How to view your immigration status using your UKVI account.
✅ *2. Check your visa details:* Verify your name, date of birth, immigration status, visa validity and conditions.
✅ *3. Link your current passport:* Why outdated passport information may create airline verification problems.
✅ *4. Check your flight booking:* Match your airline passenger information with your passport and review transit requirements.
✅ *5. Understand travel share codes:* When a share code may help, how to access one and why its 90-day validity matters.
✅ *6. Resolve airline verification problems:* What to do if your airline cannot automatically confirm your UK eVisa.
✅ *7. Prepare for UK border control:* Keep your visit purpose, accommodation address, travel arrangements and relevant supporting information ready.
*IMPORTANT FOR PAKISTANI TRAVELLERS*
An eVisa is a digital record of your UK immigration permission. Before travelling, GOV.UK advises you to check your immigration status, update your current passport details and make sure they match the information given to your airline.
If your airline cannot automatically verify your status, you may be asked for a travel share code or other valid proof. A travel share code is valid for 90 days.
If your eVisa contains incorrect details, use the official UKVI error-reporting service. If you have changed your passport, use the appropriate UKVI account-update service.
