Stephon Marbury Knicks 31pts 8asts vs Nuggets (2006)

December 16 2006 Stephon Marbury according to announcers Mike Breen and Walt "Clyde" Frazier has his best quarter in a Knicks uniform in the first quarter of this contest, where he scores 14 first quarter points on 6 of 8 shooting. In an originally competitive high scoring game, the Knicks offensive punch got weaker and weaker as coach Isiah Thomas kept "Starbury" on the bench while the Nuggets offense went unchecked on D. Marbury would still turn in a great game, finishing with 31 points and 8 assists on 13 of 24 shooting in a losing effort (are we surprised it's the Knicks-signed, a Knicks fan. When will my suffering end). Starbury would be uninvolved in the Nuggets-Knicks brawl during this game, as Thomas had his star guard on the bench at the time.
