Celebrating my birthday in Abu Dhabi with a simple home-cooked meal. 🎂💛 I started my special day by attending Mass to thank God for another year of life, good health, and all the blessings He continues to give me. After that, I prepared all the dishes, from cooking to setting the table, to make this day extra special. As an OFW, celebrating a birthday away from family back home is part of the life we choose and the sacrifices we make. Although I wish I could celebrate with all my children, I’ve learned to appreciate the people around me and make the most of the moments we share. At this stage of my life, I realize that birthdays don't have to be grand to be meaningful. Sometimes, preparing our own food, sharing a meal with a few people, and having a grateful heart are more than enough. Another year older, another year wiser, and always grateful for the life I have.
