Instant Bow Hold - Beginner Cello and Violin Bow Hold

Here is a quick way to set the bow hold for beginners. I am mostly demonstrating with a cello bow, but toward the end I will show how I set my bow hold when I play violin, which is slightly different. Many teachers have a concept of the "instant bow hold." This is my version. The concept is that your hand naturally goes to the perfect shape of a bow hold if you are relaxed and balanced. You simply just add a bow to what your hand already knows how to do. It's also instant in the sense that if you go through this step by step with me, even if you've never held a bow before, you could potentially have a professional bow hold "instantly."
