Written, directed and produced by Here Now Films. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ THE BRIEF Beyond had a problem most fast-growing companies eventually face. Built through a run of acquisitions and specialist teams across nine countries, they had huge technical credibility and almost no brand recognition to match it. Even long-standing partners in the Google ecosystem didn't recognise the new name. They needed a flagship brand film to anchor a formal brand launch. One asset that could nod to the heritage without living in it, land what Beyond does today — Google Cloud infrastructure, Workspace, cloud security and agentic AI — and do it without feeling like every other sterile tech video on the internet. THE APPROACH Beyond doesn't sell a product. They sell expertise, judgement and partnership. So we built the film around the people who actually do the work. We took over a studio space in Shoreditch, London for a single-day shoot, scheduling senior leaders and engineers through in staggered slots so nobody lost a full day. Cinematic interview lighting, shallow-depth portraiture, and a build of custom 2D motion graphics developed from Beyond's own brand system to carry the more abstract capability story. Graded and mixed to feel warm and human rather than cold and corporate. From first conversation to launch: under five weeks.
