I let Yappy send my cold outreach DMs while I did other work

I had an AI agent called Yappy send my cold outreach DMs on LinkedIn and X, from my own accounts, while I did other work. It went through 10 founders in about 20 minutes and only messaged the ones I hadn't reached yet. This is the whole setup, including the prompt. Yappy (I use it on a Mac): https://yappy.biz A computer controlling agent is a tool that uses your computer the way you would. It opens the browser, clicks, types and hits send. My test for what to give one: if I catch myself thinking "I wish a virtual assistant could do this," it's usually a good fit. Cold outreach is the one I hand off most. Here I'm booking guests for Polymaths, the podcast I host with my buddy Gera. I built a lead board with Claude Code that pulls in founders who grew a company fast or sold one, and every card has a short DM and a link to their LinkedIn or X. Copying and pasting those isn't hard, I just don't want to do it. So I had Claude Code write a slightly personalized message for each founder, put them all in one prompt, and gave it to Yappy. If you try this yourself: Tell the agent to use the browser you already have open, with LinkedIn and X logged in, so it sends from the accounts you're already signed into. Tell it not to message anyone who already has a DM sent, so nobody hears from you twice. Have it mark each lead as "DM sent" when it's done. My co-host sees the same board. It works with any lead list. A spreadsheet, a CSV, Apple Notes, whatever you keep yours in.
