The fun was cut short by a red flag

Bedford Autodrome trackday 28/09/26 with track obsession. Shame that the red flag ruined the stint, but the battery light came on while making my way back to the pits anyway. The red flag was caused by someone going off onto the grass, and his brakes were so hot they caused the grass to set on fire. It was quickly extinguished and nobody was hurt. The marshals responded quickly and the track reopened almost straight away so can't fault them at all. This was not the last stint of the day, but frustratingly I forgot to start recording again when the track reopened and I went back out. The final stint was by far the best and I sent it quite hard near the end as I knew track time was running out. I stayed out until the chequered flag in the end and was a great way to end the day, and I'm still annoyed I didn't film it. I was braking later and pushing much harder than I had throughout the day and they were by far my best laps. Oh well, just means I need to push just as hard next time and remember to record it!
