Big Jim Sullivan teaching guitar

Obscure wisdom from the amazing Big Jim Sullivan. As everyone knows he was the king of all session guitarists in England in the 60's and 70's. (Mostly known as the guitarist for Tom Jones in the early 70's). The story goes that Big Jim shared some guitar knowledge with a very young Ritchie Blackmore. I was fortunate enough to speak to him by phone about 15 years before he died as I was trying to play a small role in getting his two "TIGER" albums released on CD. (Self-Titled and Going Down Laughing") This effort failed, and it is a shame because these albums are very interesting hybrid of Prog/ Fusion-esque with vocals. Check out his amazing "TEST OF TIME "CD which is still available (With Simon Phillips and Percy Jones!) Another rare under-rated album is "Pacific Eardrum" (self-titled) which also feature Big Jim guesting on guitar.
