Huge Windrows vs. the PrimeTech PT-475 | Wood Yard Weekend

You’ll see the 475 approach the first row and work through it, with normal-speed sections and sped-up footage so you can follow the progress. Sunday starts with an update around the DoubleTree wood yard. I walk through our firewood and cedar inventory, the Eastonmade 1824 and 37E, the firewood cleaner, the Kindlet Pro kindling machine, and the hydraulic saw attachment. There’s also a look at the forestry excavator, generators, hammer mill, feed hopper, mixer and sifter—and how those pieces fit into turning wood into different products. Then I follow my friend Bodie in my own truck to pick up the 475. A battery issue adds a jumper-cable stop before we get it started, loaded onto the trailer, hauled back through town and unloaded at the yard. We finish by using the track loader and hammer mill to make cedar granules, filling a 275-gallon tote and talking through the next steps for preparing our rodent-repellent products.
