coulou's cafe trumpet meditations (no. 69) [live at canyon]

Hello lovely humans, I hope everyone has been doin well out there, super excited to share this video with youuu. I filmed this meditation at Canyon, which is a new digital art museum opening in NYC in the fall of 2026 - essentially i was able to play in this empty 40,000 square foot space before they began the construction of all the walls and stuff. the acoustics were insane, a full 7 second delay of reverb. the audio you're hearing has no effects on it, just clean mixing. so allll the reverb you hear I actually captured with 4 different microphones around the space. this was such an incredibly dope experience. Canyon will be releasing a collection of these recordings as well as ones with other artists who recorded in this space later this year as part of their "Echoes: Live at Canyon" series. canyon.org (http://canyon.org/)". Also you might notice the video quality is feeling extra immersive and beautiful, biggest thank you to ‪@BlackmagicDesignOfficial‬ , i'm using their Pocket Cinema 6K camera to shoot this and it's been honestly so dope seeing these visuals come to life. I always want the scene to feel like a piece of art in itself and the sensor quality on this camera is just so phenomenal. I also justtttt finished designing new merch which i am loving and i think and hope that you all will love too. anddddd i'm scoring a movie right now so life is a little crazy. kind of in that space of time is moving so fast cause maybe im doing too many things, but i will plan a break soon to decompress after all of this. I got to play a show on Wednesday and it truly warmed my heart so much to share that space with those of you who were able to come. i am endlessly grateful of this community and am always just wanting to think of ways i can give back to you all for this incredible support. i'm going to start booking more shows in more places and hopefully will be able to meet more and more of you! thank you again as always, love you all. coulou
