Anatolian Groove Machine - WHAT MOTHER TOLD US II(Full Concept Album) | Dark Psychedelic Folk Horror

Our mothers had more rules. Don't whistle after dark. Don't tell the stranger at the bend which way is home. Don't untie the rags on the wishing tree. When someone dies, cover every mirror. And never, ever sweep the house at night. These are real Anatolian superstitions, still whispered in villages today. In every song, someone breaks one. And with every song, it comes a little closer, until it is inside. Turn off the lights. 🕯️🌑 🎧 THE MASTER TRACKLIST (Chapters): 00:00 - Track 1: DON'T WHISTLE AT NIGHT (The Night Whistle) 05:15 - Track 2: DON'T TELL THE MAN THE WAY HOME (The Legend of Yol Kesen) 09:48 - Track 3: THE WISHING TREE (The Rags of Red) 14:50 - Track 4: COVER THE MIRRORS (The Soul That Forgot) 19:38 - Track 5: DON'T SWEEP AFTER DARK (The Old Ones in the Dust) 📜 THE LORE: A boy whistles down the hallway after dark, and something past the garden wall whistles back, three notes, a little slow, like someone learning how to call. A traveler meets a man at a bend in the road who keeps asking the way to the village, and the road keeps bringing him back to the same crooked tree. A girl unties one faded red rag from the wishing tree on the hill, and a stranger's whole life begins moving into her head. A grandson forgets one small hand mirror when his grandfather passes, and the old man never learns that he is gone. And a girl sweeps the dust out of the house at night, leaving the old ones who walk these halls with nowhere to step but her. 👁️ Part I:    • Anatolian Groove Machine - WHAT MOTHER TOL...   🎸 Genre: Dark Psychedelic Folk Horror, Anatolian Psychedelic Rock, 70s Psych, Dark Folk, Horror Score 🎨 Artwork & Concept: Anatolian Groove Machine Which superstition did your family follow?
