This documentation video shows how I make an egi from scrap wood and some donor prongs from a commercial squid jig that does not swim well. In this video, I show how I whittle down the wood, make wire eyes for attaching the leader and the sinkers, how we wrapped the jig with cotton twine and how we finished the jig with a coat of superglue as a top coat. We ended up with an egi that enables us to change sinkers to adjust the sink rate of the jig.
