ALIENS DECLARE WAR ON HUMAN SPACE EXPLORATION! 🛰️ War of the Satellites (1958) | Sci-Fi Classic

Spurred by the launch of Earth's manned satellite program, an enigmatic alien force erects a forcefield quarantine zone around Earth, declaring that humanity is not yet ready to explore deep space. Ignoring the extraterrestrial warning, a bold United Nations space agency launches a manned satellite mission to breach the barrier. However, the aliens strike back covertly: lead scientist Dr. Pol Van Patter is killed in a car crash and replicated by an alien clone with superhuman abilities and a deadly agenda. Facing sabotage from within the spacecraft and cosmic threats from without, fellow researcher Dave Boyer (Dick Miller) must unmask the imposter before the ship is destroyed. Directed in record time by B-movie king Roger Corman, War of the Satellites (1958) is an iconic piece of 1950s Cold War-era science fiction. 🎬 DIRECTOR Roger Corman ✍️ WRITERS Irving Block — story Lawrence L.
