My squadron's mission is to neutralize these long-range systems using anti-radiation missiles (HARMs) to degrade enemy integrated air defenses. However, recon reports indicate we will first need to penetrate a curtain of enemy fighter patrols protecting the SA-2 sites. My flight will be carrying air-to-air loadouts to first sweep the skies of hostile aircraft before pressing our SEAD attack. We'll launch from our forward airbase and rally at the rendezvous point. As we cross into enemy territory, AWACS will provide vector updates on bogey fighter locations. My pilots must aggressively clear this aerial engagement zone using our air superiority fighters and suspended ordnance. Once the airspace is sanitized, my flight will re-arm with HARMs and push toward the SA-2 target locations. We'll need to trigger the surface-to-air radars, then rapidly launch our anti-radiation missiles before air defense artillery has time to engage. With the high-value SA-2 sites leveled, we'll have inflicted a major blow to enemy anti-aircraft capabilities.
