Daytona USA (Sega Model 2, 1993/1994) running natively on PC, Mac, Linux, Android and PSVita.

This isn't emulation: the arcade's code is statically recompiled to native C++. This update adds network link play, the 1994 version, faster and sharper hardware rendering, and wheel support. WHAT'S NEW 🏁 Link play (experimental) Race your friends over your home network, Wi-Fi or wired, like linked arcade cabinets. Up to 8 cabinets in a ring, just like the real machines. Tested with three computers at once: Windows, macOS and Linux all racing each other. Set one cabinet to MASTER and the rest to SLAVE in the game's own test menu, and give each a different car number. 🕹️ Daytona USA Revision A (1994) supported The 1994 version (MAME's "daytona" set) now builds alongside the original '93 Deluxe version. Put either set, or both, in the roms folder and setup builds each one as its own game, with separate settings and saves. Link play needs Revision A. 🖥️ Hardware renderer: faster and sharper • The tile layers (sky, backdrop, HUD and text) are now drawn on the GPU, giving about 30% more frames per second • New Super sampling option: draw the 3D at 2x, 3x or 4x resolution for sharp textures and smooth edges, with the pixel-art HUD kept crisp 🎮 Wheels, pedals and force feedback (experimental) • Bind any wheel, pedal set or shifter, even as separate USB devices • Calibration while binding: turn or press as far as you want full lock or full travel to be, and let go • Force feedback from the arcade's own drive board commands (centring, friction, kerb rumble, the wheel pulling), or gamepad rumble 🔊 Native audio now also works on the 1994 set 🌅 Widescreen fix Camera shots with lots of sky no longer smear the sides, then snap to stretched.
