Born in Yokohama, Japan. Graduated from Tokyo Jikei Unversity, School of Medicine. Her professional career as a jazz singer began when she was a college student at the age of 19, and went on for about six years to support herself with tuition and life expenses. She once left her singing career to concentrate and dedicate herself in serving as a doctor after finishing the studies. In 1999, she made her way back to sing again, and in 2019, released her 1st album “Rondo.” and in 2021 her 2nd album ”Then and Now” Her articles and writings can be found in major newspapers such as Mainichi Daily News and Yomiuri.
