Acme Steel, Chicago Coke Plant. Coal Bunker (top floor)

for months now, I swore I would never check out the top floor of the coal bunker. last weekend I met some people and watched them traverse 'the plank' and the stairs. this was a great opportunity to ask questions and watch them do it. suddenly I knew I had to do it. normally i'd wait until saturday, but i actually was in michigan and acme was more of less right on the way back, plus i had brought my bike to michigan. so i made a quick stop, grabbed some lunch, rode over and went up stairs. it is a very windy day, the combination of the noise and the feeling when you are exposed on the staircase made this a bit scary. on the way down i was pretty petrified, not going to lie. glad i did this, looking back it was probably pointlessly dumb but now it is done, i do not see myself doing this again. there are probably 10 other videos showing this and maybe they are even better, but this one is mine. i hope you enjoyed it.
