MOVING DEEPER a movie about flipping the script on perspective and limitations. It's crazy. 61 and still improving in the water 🔥 But on land there are a series of pending challenges. How can they be navigated? MOVING DEEPER is a study on diving out of one's comfort zone and leaning into adversity. Different boards, an open mind, embracing change, chasing waves, exploring unfamiliar places, and searching for something DEEPER. Join me on my Caribbean SURF exploration which started with a simple idea: find some waves and follow my curiosity. What happened along the way became much more meaningful than the surfing itself. I traveled to an exotic, urban Caribbean island looking for surf, adventure, new experiences and the unexpected. I found waves, but I also found something much harder to score: genuine human connection, unexpected kindness, culture, curiosity and a reminder that there is still so much life ahead. The surf was fun. But what I scored on this trip was a lot more special. At 61, I'm reminded that surfing isn't just about performance or results. It's about the act itself. The search. The movement. The feeling of following something because you're curious about where it might lead. Flow is not performative. In surfing and in life. Maybe that's what this chapter is really about. Paying closer attention. Following curiosity like a compass rather than a clock. Exploring new surf spots. Finding new point breaks. Traveling to unfamiliar places. Meeting people. Smooth asphalt and Surfskate soul. Discovering different cultures and rhythms. And continuing to move forward when you don't necessarily know exactly where the road leads. Sometimes this chapter of life can feel lonely. But maybe loneliness isn't always a void that needs to be filled. Maybe it's space. Space for curiosity. Space for discovery. Space for the next story.
