Explore Odaiba Seaside Park, also called Odaiba Marine Park (お台場海浜公園 / Odaiba Kaihin Koen) in Tokyo, Japan, on this 4K sunset walking tour, beginning at the iconic life-size Unicorn Gundam statue in front of DiverCity Tokyo Plaza and continuing across the waterfront promenade to Odaiba Beach. The walk begins outside DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, a major shopping and entertainment complex in the Odaiba district. The area in front of the building was formerly home to the life-size Unicorn Gundam statue, one of Odaiba's most recognizable landmarks and a popular attraction among anime and Gundam enthusiasts. After nine years on display, the iconic statue officially concluded its exhibition on August 31, 2026, and was subsequently removed. Although it is no longer there, its former location remains a memorable part of Odaiba's tourism history and a significant destination for Gundam fans and visitors from around the world. From DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, the walking route continues across the pedestrian promenade bridge toward Odaiba Seaside Park. Along the way, the elevated walkway offers views of two of Odaiba's most recognizable landmarks: the Fuji Television Building, famous for its distinctive futuristic architecture and large spherical observation structure, and Aqua City Odaiba, a popular waterfront shopping and entertainment complex featuring a variety of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment facilities. Upon entering Odaiba Seaside Park, we encounter the famous Statue of Liberty replica. Positioned along Tokyo Bay with Rainbow Bridge in the background, this landmark is one of the most photographed locations in Odaiba. The statue was originally installed temporarily during the Japan-France Friendship Year in 1998–1999. Following its popularity, a permanent replica was created and installed in 2000. Today, it remains a recognizable symbol of Odaiba and an important sightseeing stop for visitors exploring the waterfront. Continuing down toward the waterfront, the scenery opens up to reveal expansive views of Tokyo Bay, the surrounding Tokyo skyline, and the impressive Rainbow Bridge. Connecting the Odaiba waterfront with the Shibaura area of central Tokyo, Rainbow Bridge is one of the city's most recognizable structures. The waterfront promenade provides an excellent vantage point for observing the bridge, passing boats, distant buildings, and the changing atmosphere of Tokyo Bay during sunset. Another highlight of this walking tour is Tokyo Aqua Symphony (東京アクアシンフォニー), a new fountain attraction at Odaiba Seaside Park that officially opened on March 28, 2026. This impressive waterfront installation combines powerful water jets, music, and lighting effects to create a large-scale fountain performance overlooking Tokyo Bay. The fountain reaches heights of up to approximately 150 meters and stretches across approximately 250 meters, making it a prominent new feature of Tokyo's waterfront landscape. The final part of our walking tour follows the waterfront toward Odaiba Beach, a sandy artificial beach within Odaiba Seaside Park.
